How love can make your baby smarter?

Are you feeling confused by an overload of information about 'baby management'?

Are you feeling pressured by advice to ignore you baby so he learns to sleep, play by himself, and become 'independent'?

Are you struggling to enjoy your baby because you are spending all day 'managing' (or mismanaging) your routine?

Relax!

There is an easier way to nurture your baby and it comes without 'cuddle police' to judge or boss you around.

Over years of observing parent/ baby interactions and studying the research, it is very worrying to me that the increasing pressure to have a 'convenient' baby is having a "dulling down" effect on babies.

I feel sad when I see blank faces, a lack of animation or exploration as these so-called 'good' babies sit or lie about without expecting interaction from the adults around them. I also feel sad that responsive parents are often the brunt of criticism for 'pandering' to their babies.

What lights up my life though, is the joy and animation, curiosity and boundless exploration that I observe in responsively nurtured babies. Many of these babies begin life as 'high need' or 'high interest' babies; others are 'easier'. But one thing they all seem to have in common as they grow is a joy for living - it is wonderful to see these babies become little people with wonder in their eyes and spirit in their souls!

This is what motivates me! And I want to share the very best information with you all so that your responsive parenting is acknowledged and reinforced.
